What are the restrictions of Sri Lanka ETA for tourism?
Sri Lanka’s Tourist ETA is only issued for short-term stays, including tourism, visiting friends & family and competing in sporting events.
The Sri Lanka Tourist ETA is an electronic Travel Authorization issued by the Sri Lanka Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigration. It allows tourists to enter the country for tourism purposes, such as sightseeing, visiting friends and family, or participating in sporting events, competitions, or activities related to tourism.
Sri Lanka grants 30 days of stay for tourists at a time, but violators can be punished with fines and possible jail time.
