What are the restrictions of the ETA transit visa for Sri Lanka?
The ETA transit visa is a type of visa that allows you to travel through Sri Lanka for a limited time. The Sri Lanka ETA transit is not the same as an ETA tourist visa, which you can use to visit Sri Lanka for a longer period of time.
There are some restrictions on the ETA transit visa:
– You can’t work in Sri Lanka while your ETA transit visa is active.
– You can’t get married or have children while your ETA transit visa is active.
– You need to have at least USD$50 in your bank account when you apply for the visa.
The Sri Lanka Transit ETA is good for two days in the country when transiting to an onward destination.
Once you have the approved Sri Lanka Transit ETA, you aren’t allowed to stay in the country for more than 2 days. It’s also illegal for you to work or study here
